Blockchain technology is the underlying technology that powers cryptocurrencies and NFTs. It is a decentralized and distributed ledger system that records transactions across a network of computers. Each transaction is grouped into a block, and these blocks are linked together in a chain, forming a permanent and tamper-resistant record of all transactions.

3. What is NFT Minting?

Minting, in essence, refers to the act of generating a fresh NFT on the blockchain. After we produce our digital artwork, we transform it into an NFT through the minting process. On occasion, we extend the opportunity to our customers to perform the minting themselves. By doing so, they become the inaugural owners and can acquire these items at the most cost-effective rates.

Minting an NFT:

Creating Something New: Minting means you are making a brand-new digital item, like art, music, or a collectible, and turning it into a unique digital collectible called an NFT.
You’re the First Owner: When you mint an NFT, you’re the very first person to own it, and it gets recorded on a special digital ledger called the blockchain.
Like Making Your Own Art: Think of it like making your own piece of art and saying, “This is mine, and nobody else has one exactly like it.”

Buying an NFT:

Getting an Existing NFT: When you buy an NFT, you’re purchasing an NFT that someone else has already created and owned.
Buying from the Owner: You’re buying it from the person who originally minted it or someone who bought it earlier.
Like Buying a Collectible: It’s similar to buying a collectible, like a rare baseball card, from someone who had it before you.

6. How do I purchase a Crypto Dreams NFT?

Our digital assets are available on the most widely recognised NFT marketplace, OpenSea. This Opensea platform is like an eBay for NFT art and other digital collectibles. To acquire NFTs from OpenSea, you will need to setup a crypto wallet, called MetaMask. You then enter the Opensea platform using your Crypto wallet (MetaMask) password. Follow the instructions below:

Install MetaMask Wallet: You will need to install MetaMask, which is a browser extension wallet. Browser extensions is simply software that runs via your devices web browser. It can be installed on desktop or mobile. We recommend you only install it on one device for security reasons. When creating a new MetaMask, you will be given a seedphrase and password. Never share your seed phrase or password with anyone. Keep it very secure.

Fund your MetaMask Wallet: We only have Ethereum or Polygon NFTs. Fund with ETH is you are buying NFTs from an Ethereum collection. Fund with Polygon MATIC is you are buying NFTs from a Polygon collection.

View our OpenSea NFT collections: Once you have a funded your MetaMask crypto wallet, visit Our NFT Collections, which are all on Opensea.

Find an NFT you want to buy: When you find an NFT that you’re interested in, click on its listing to view more details. You can check how rare the NFT is by clicking on the Traits tab.

Buy now or make an offer: If the NFT has a fixed price, you can simply click the “Buy Now” button to proceed with the purchase. If the NFT is listed for auction or allows offers, you can participate in the bidding process or make an offer to the seller.

Review and complete the purchase: After selecting the “Buy Now” option or making an offer, you will be prompted to review the final cost of your purchase, including any transaction fees. Confirm the details and proceed with the transaction. You may need to sign the transaction using your wallet.

7. What Blockchain is our NFTs on?

Our NFTs collections are either on the Ethereum or Polygon Blockchain.

8. Do I need a cryptocurrency wallet to buy NFTs?

Yes, you will need a compatible cryptocurrency wallet to store your NFTs after purchase. We recommend using wallets that support Ethereum and Polygon, such as MetaMask for seamless transactions.

9. How can I buy Ethereum?

To buy Ethereum, you can use popular cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken. After creating an account on one of these platforms, you can deposit fiat currency (such as GBP, USD or EUR) and then purchase Ethereum using the exchange’s trading features.

11. What types of drawings can I request?

You can request a wide range of drawings, including portraits, landscapes, abstract art, pet portraits, fan art, and more. We’re open to any creative ideas you have in mind!

12. Can I choose the medium for my artwork?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of artistic mediums, including digital, pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and more. You can select the medium that best suits your vision.

13. How do I communicate with the artist?

Visit our contact page to communicate with us via email, or chat to us live via Discord.

14. How long does it take to receive my personalised drawing?

The turnaround time can vary depending on the complexity of your project, the chosen medium, and the artist’s availability. Generally, you can expect to receive your artwork within 2-4 weeks. However, some projects may take longer. It also depends if you want the art as a digital file, print or framed.

15. What are the payment options?

We currently accept payment via bank transfer. Once you’ve discussed your project with us and finalised the details, we will provide you with the necessary bank transfer information for payment.

16. Can I request revisions to my artwork?

Yes, we offer revision options to ensure your satisfaction. We will send you a photo of the completed artwork before finalising it, and we don’t mind doing minor revisions to make it perfect for you.

17. Do you offer framing or printing services?

We do offer printing and framing services. And can provide quotes for this.

18. What if I’m not satisfied with the final result?

We strive to ensure that you are delighted with your artwork. If you have concerns or are unsatisfied with the final result, please communicate with us to resolve any issues.
